1963 Volvo P1800s. $2,500. Currently doesn't run. (Needs battery and new fuel) It has been sitting for a year and has all the original parts. Very nice condition in a deep blue. (repainted) No rust and 41k on the odometer. Obviously it isn't that low and is probably 141k. (Given the condition, maybe not 241k) Can't get it home for towing reasons. (The tow truck driver says it is illegal in Oregon to tow with expired tags. I found in a fews states it is ok as longs as the wheels don't touch the ground, but I'm not sure about Oregon.)

I don't think the mileage really matters, as it's still alive, and you can rebuild her; the technology is available and you have the capability. Go for it, and she can be better than she was before. Better, stronger, faster!

Go shake your father's hand for me. I've wanted one of those since I was a teenager myself. Long ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

I have no idea about Oregon's laws, but surely if you have all four wheels off the ground, you're not towing? Or, at least, you're towing a trailer with a car on, not a car, so you'd have to make sure the trailer was legal.

Here in the UK we have the same thing - you can only tow a road-legal vehicle - but loading it onto a car transporter or lowloader or some such is fine.

It was a flatbed towtruck, so all wheels would be off the ground.
